Tourism Is Part of the Increasing Economic Development in Our County

The Tourism Economic Impact Report for 2024 has been released for Kentucky.  The Paris-Bourbon County Tourism Commission is proud to announce that tourism for our small-town community is up again since 2023!   The economic impact for Bourbon County is $28.9 million compared to $28.5 million last year.  The Tourism Office has seen an influx of visitors from across the country and as far away as Paris, France!  It is always interesting to hear their many stories about how and why they came to this area.  People are always amazed at the charm and beauty, the horses and history, but mainly the friendly hospitality of the community.

But don’t just read about us, come see for yourself.  We are a short distance away, right off I-75 at exit 113 and down Rand McNally’s pick as one of the most beautiful highways in Kentucky.  A quick 15-minute drive and you are here!  Stop by 806 Main Street for information on all the things to see and do.
