Christmas Parade is Happening December 6

Twinkling lights, the sound of the drums, horses’ hooves prod down the asphalt, while jingle
bells jangle, marching music, decorated floats, and children’s delighted faces. Store windows
dressed for the season, hot chocolate with marshmallows, warm mittens and mufflers, cheers,
applause and………Santa!

It’s the annual Christmas Parade, presented by the Paris BoCo Chamber of Commerce winding
its way down the longest and most beautiful Main Street in Kentucky. It’s the tradition and
warmth of people standing together to have a shared enjoyable, holiday experience. It is a
storybook Christmas celebrated the Bourbon County way with HOLIDAY Horses, History and
Hospitality.

And of course, the annual tree lighting after the parade on the courthouse lawn. There will be
music, a storybook reading of The Night Before Christmas, the final countdown to the lighting
of thousands of lights on the tree. It’s magic for children of all ages. After all, it’s Paris!!
It all happens on December 6, 2025 starting at 5:30 at Bourbon County High School and ending
at the beautiful BoCo Courthouse Square. Let’s all find something to celebrate and enjoy this
annual event!
